In September of 2019 I started my Domain of One’s Own research fellowship. I have spent the first two weeks learning about domains while creating and developing my own. I have also spent time looking at the Knight Domains website to understand the mission of giving people access to their own digital space.
While exploring the Knights Domain website I started to brainstorm how to update parts of the page; specifically the examples page. I did this by looking at other Domain of One’s Own (DoOO) websites from other programs in addition to SNC’s Knights Domain page.
Using Google Jamboard I made notes of things that might be useful for people to know about domains/DoOO and how that information is relayed and accessible.
For the rest of week two I plan to work on my domain and explore new options for the Knights Domain website.
