Knight Domains is an initiative offered by St. Norbert College that gives students, staff, and faculty access to the internet in a unique way: domains.
Domains allow you to set up, design, and maintain a website all of your own. At St. Norbert, domains are used for educational purposes, blogs, portfolios, and more.
As a research fellow for Knight Domains and Domain of One’s Own, I am looking at the impact of Knight Domains on the St. Norbert community. During my first year as a fellow I had the opportunity to help design a Knight Domains Community page to showcase the websites of the SNC community.
The Community page exhibits sites and provides a space for community members to provide behind the scenes information such as why they made a domain, explain their design process, and share the theme or tools they used to develop their site.
